Papers of the Cleveland family of Charlottesville, Va., 1858-1943.

The collection contains music recital programs from Eva Cleveland's school, the First Baptist Church, and other local music schools; programs and other printed material, 1905-1941, regarding First Baptist Church; and miscellaneous printed material, 1875-1940, regarding Charlottesville and Albemarle County, Va., and music and piano teaching. The collection also contains other miscellaneous items of interest to Miss Cleveland including pages from an 1859 edition of the Georgia Temperance Crusader; vacation souvenirs; brochures from a school run by her mother; a ledger, 1858-1875, of A.H. Cleaveland Dry Goods Store; and a second ledger reused as a scrapbook, 1884-1930, containing reviews of Miss Cleveland's church and school recitals.
